The talk will provide an overview of different types of braces that can provide symptom relief and promote joint stability for Hypermobile EDS patients. The pros and cons of different brace technologies from a product development standpoint will be discussed. Furthermore, the role of proprioception in the context of joint stability will be reviewed. In addition, an overview will be provided of research and studies supporting bracing as a treatment modality to keep patients active and moving.
