Target Audience

This activity is designed for Dermatologists, Family Medicine/Primary Care Physicians, Podiatrists, Vascular Surgeons, other physicians (MD, DO), physician extenders (NP, PA) and allied health professionals (RN) with a specialty in wound care.

• Describe state of the art standards of care in wound management
• Recognize, differentiate different types of non-healing wounds, including atypical and malignant wounds
• Implement new modalities and devices for wound management
• Discuss appropriate wound management protocols
• Explain the advantages of collaborating with various specialties in wound management to optimize wound healing

Podiatrist / Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements for approval of providers of continuing education in podiatric medicine through a joint provider agreement between Cine-Med and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing.  Cine-Med is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine.
